ZACH'S PETTING ZOO

Visit and feed the farm animals. Zach is always enlarging and improving his farm animal family. We offer many "question and answer" boards to help everyone learn more about farm animals and where our food comes from. Zach's Zoo includes goats, ponies, sheep, chickens, cows, ducks, geese, calves, beehives and more. The baby chick house is a must. See chicks of various breeds from just hatched to several weeks old. The zoo provides an educational hands-on experience for kids of all ages. Also, stop by Llama Land!

ANIMAL FACTS & FUN

Cows: Typically cows weigh 1,400 pounds and produces 60 pounds or 90 glasses of milk per day.

Sheep: A ewe is pregnant for 90 days, and gives birth to one or two lambs.

Joke: What do you call a shy sheep?
Answer: BAAAAAAAAAASHFUL!

Pigs: Pigs are pregnant for 3 months , 3 weeks and 3 days and give birth to piglets weighing 3 to 5 pounds. There may be as many as 16 piglets in a litter.

Joke: Why shouldn't you tell a secret to a pig?
Answer: Because he is a squealer!
